I'm backkk and look forward to conquering 2018 with all of you babes. Being crazy busy finishing up my first semester of college and wanting to focus on family and friends when I got home. I decided to take a lil breather this past month from blogging while still posting on Instagram. I was also feeling a bit uninspired and thought taking a break would help me be more inspired and creative to start the new year. I got to refresh my thoughts, desires and plan for my goals of 2018 (personal and interior of my life). 2017 was amazing with all my projects, collaborations and I even grew as an influencer. It was an amazing year and I could not have done it without all of you!

I'm loving the start 2018 and so excited to share everything I have planned for this year.

Lessons I have learned in 2017:

1. The biggest thing I’ve learned is that, no matter what your hardest moment might be, there is always a way out and that way out will make you much stronger. Life is tough but so are you.

2. Keep your friends and family close. We’re all so busy with our daily lives like going to school and work that we tend to forget the ones closest to us. I use to be the worst at showing my love and appreciation for the people closest to me. With starting a new chapter in my life and going to college, I learned how to show my love and appreciation to the important people in my life.

3. Mindset is everything....what we think expands.

4. To create meaningful work for my followers this year... I learned more about my followers and what they liked seeing from me but want to interact with you all even more in 2018.

5. Not be afraid to be different. It is okay to stand out. I learned to not be afraid to tell people about my blog and to let people know about it because it's apart of me and it's what I love to do.

My personal goals:

1. To believe that anything is possible

2. Start each day with a goal

3. Eat healthier

4. Drink more water

5. Exercise daily

6. Shop for quality not quantity

7. Stay organized

8. Hug the ones I love (if you know me I'm not the hugger type)

9. Find the best in others

My goals for Interior of My Life:

1. Get more personal with my followers and ask them what they want to see

more of on Interior of My Life and their opinions

2. Be more active on my blog

3. Don't compare myself to other bloggers

4. Continue to grow as an influencer

5. Connect with more college fashionistas

New Years resolutions are like hitting the refresh button. You get to start new journeys, healthy habits, and make a positive change in your life.

Let's make 2018 the year you meet your fitness and beauty goals. Whether it’s a workout regime you need to keep up or youthful radiant skin you’re after, the right products can get you there. This year I am definitely working on my fitness and skincare. Being so busy in college trying to balance school, sorority stuff and having a social life I did not find time to workout as much as I should. In 2018 I hope to achieve both my personal and Interior of my Life goals. It's time to refresh your mind, body, and soul. Start the new year with the items below.

My skincare usually is the same year round. I love trying new products but I have a few favorites that I can not live without. Now that it is summer I like to keep my face extra hydrated and moisturized. I use mostly the same products on my face every morning and night. My morning skincare routine consist of cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. My nighttime skincare routine consist of cleanser, toner, eye cream, and moisturizer. If I have a blemish I will apply a overnight blemish lotion and I will do a face mask once a week.

I have used this cleanser for the passed couple of years and have not found a better cleanser for my face. It is formulated for all skin types, this one-step cleanser deeply cleans pores and eliminates makeup build-up. I try to wash my face every morning and every night but sometimes I am lazy and use makeup wipes, if we are being real.

After I wash my face, I use a toner to tighten my pores. Kopari revitalizes and restores your skins natural balance. It is alcohol-free, phthalate-free, non-GMO & vegan. I close my eyes and spritz all over my face after cleansing to tighten pores.

I have used this for the last six months and really like it. After I spritz the toner all over my face, I apply this moisturizer This is a the 24 Hour, light-textured hydrator. It reduces moisture loss and has a continuous water replenishment throughout day. I have Rosacea and my skin tends to soak up moisture very fast. I tend to apply a little more on my cheeks than I do the rest of my face when my skin is really dry.

I started using this eye cream when I started using the ultra facial cream. This creamy yet uniquely concentrated avocado oil formula gently moisturizes the delicate eye area. I apply it only at night with my finger tips around my orbital bone and try to do it lightly and not pull my skin. It gives you a burst of hydration for the eye area.

I usually do a face mask once a week. This is a gentle yet effective clay mask that purifies and detoxifies clogged pores to clear complexion, eliminate dead skin cells, and restore your skin.

If I have a blemish, I apply this overnight drying lotion that battles breakouts and reduces redness, irritation and inflammation.

After I exfoliate my body or shave I use this convenient spray lotion that moisturizes and absorbs in seconds, so you can put your clothes right on and get on with your day.

It is summer and you are getting tanner and don't need a full face of makeup. It is the perfect time to let your skin glow. In the summer I normally won't put on foundation if I'm just doing a natural makeup look.

If I am just going to the pool for the day I apply BB cream that has SPF in it all over my face and I put on water proof mascara. If my skin is dry then I will put on a little facial oil before I go and lay out in the sun.

If I am going out for the day and need to look decent I usually go for a more natural look. Which consist of concealer if I have a blemish or dark circles under my eyes, foundation, a little bronzer all over my face then I contour under my cheek bones, a dab of blush and highlighter, mascara (I use two different mascaras to get a fuller look), fill in my brows with an eyebrow pencil and some lipgloss.

At night if I am going out I will put on more makeup than my natural makeup look and add eyeshadow and eyeliner.

My hair is naturally wavy and always want to dry it and straighten right after the shower. But now that it is summer and l spend a lot of days at the pool, I embrace my wavy hair.

I switch my shampoo and conditioner all the time. Once the bottles are empty, I usually try something different. Right now I am using Fekkai shampoo and conditioner and love it plus it smells amazing and is available at Kroger.

I spray this on my roots while my hair is still damp if I blow dry it. I have super thin hair so this gives me more volume and really makes my hair feel thicker.

If I am not leaving my hair natural then I blow dry it after I spray my roots with the volume spray and then straighten it or curl it.

After I am done styling my hair, I dip my fingers in this cream and rub my hands together and apply it evenly throughout my hair. This helps my fly aways and frizz.

If I don't feel like washing my hair, I will just apply a little dry shampoo to it or throw on a baseball hat. I am a freak about washing my hair so I don't use dry shampoo often but when I do use it, I use Elizabeth and James dry shampoo spray or R+Co dry shampoo paste.
