Let's talk CBD: I have struggled with anxiety my whole life. Some individuals take CBD oil to soothe their everyday worries, others use it to treat more serious conditions like generalized anxiety disorder. Anxiety and Depression run in my family. Everyone feels anxious now and then it's completely normal. I have dealt with anxiety basically since I was born. My anxiety has caused me to have sleeping problems, panic attacks, unable to stay still and worry a ton. I have taken medicine, seen therapist and dealt with it off of medication. I have always wanted to get off of my anxiety/depression medicine but know how bad my anxiety is without it. I have been wanting to try a natural way to help me deal with my anxiety and started using CBD oil 3 weeks ago. I started at a low dosage just to see if I could tell a difference while still taking my anxiety/depression medicine. 3 weeks later and I am completely off of my medicine and just using CBD oil. I slowly winged myself off of my medicine with consent of my doctor. If you take medicine for anxiety/depression talk to your doctor before getting off of it.

Besides treating my anxiety, I have been using CBD oil to help with my acne cause it is an anti-inflammatory. It has really made a huge difference in my skin. I am going to wait a couple more weeks and share a before picture with no CBD oil and a after of my face with CBD oil.

Okay, so, I have been using CBD oil to help treat my anxiety along with acne.

What is CBD oil?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally-occurring constituent of industrial hemp (cannabis sativa) plants. Unlike THC, CBD (cannabidiol) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid and does not cause a high.

CBD is different. Unlike THC, it is not psychoactive. This means that CBD does not change a person's state of mind when they use it.

Where does CBD oil come from?

The least processed form of the cannabis plant is hemp. Hemp contains most of the CBD that people use medicinally.

Most CBD oil is farmed from hemp, which is the least-processed form of the cannabis plant.

CBD oil ( as well as the rest of the cannabis plant ) is legal for recreational use in Alaska, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Nevada, Oregon, & Washington.

How does CBD oil work?

All cannabinoids, including CBD, produce effects in the body by attaching to certain receptors.

The human body produces certain cannabinoids on its own. It also has two receptors for cannabinoids, called the CB1 receptors and CB2 receptors.

CB1 receptors are present throughout the body, but many are in the brain.

The CB1 receptors in the brain deal with coordination and movement, pain, emotions, and mood, thinking, appetite, and memories, and other functions. THC attaches to these receptors.

CB2 receptors are more common in the immune system. They affect inflammation and pain.

Researchers once believed that CBD attached to these CB2 receptors, but it now appears that CBD does not attach directly to either receptor.

What are the benefits of CBD oil?

Proponents of CBD oil claim that it can treat a wide variety of health issues, ranging from everyday ailments to chronic medical conditions.

Chronic pain

Loss of appetite and body weight

Muscle spasms

Parkinson's disease

How do you take CBD oil?

A person can use CBD oil in different ways to relieve various symptoms.

CBD oil is edible and can be used as a cooking oil or added to food. People may also take it as a medication by consuming a few drops.

I take it orally and put a few drops under my tongue and let it sit for 30-60 seconds then have a sip of water after. This is the quickest way for it to get into your system.

Applying CBD products topically leads to relatively slow and uniform absorption, ensuring that the skin remains moisturized and receives CBD’s benefits over a longer period of time.
